Maternity Photograper

Your pregnancy photoshoot session celebrates the incredible things your body is working hard for. Your session can be a mix of natural and or glamourous belly beauty.

As your maternity photographer I have a maternity gowns to choose from and you are welcome to bring your own. I also use fabrics to create something unique to you.

I work closely with you to discover your style, using Pinterest Boards to inspire us both. You can take a look at my Pinterest Page by clicking on the image on the right. Once we have your ideal style we can plan the session.

Maternity photoshoots are usually very laid back and fun. You are welcome to bring partner, children or another family member or friend. They take place in my studio in Glendon.

The choice is yours and I advise you chose based on your currently style and tastes in the home where the images will be displayed.

When is the best time for a maternity session?

28 to 32 term is usually perfect. The size of the bump needs to be seen and you usually don’t feel up to it in the last 6 weeks.

How soon should I book my session?

From when you are 20 weeks along with the newborn session to secure a date. The newborn session date is only determined after birth or in some cases when there is a planned c-section, a little earlier.

Do I need to show bump, especially if I have stretch marks?

I really don’t want anyone to feel uncomfortabe in the sessions so you only show what you wish. You have to be comfortable with this going on your wall or in an album. I am trained in photoshop art of removing anything you feel is unsighltly! I am trained to flatter you with camera angles to slim the figure in areas you feel have enhanced over the pregnancy. I prefer people to tell me what bothers them so I am aware every step the way.

Clothing for the pregnancy/maternity session?

I have a few maternity gowns to choose from but I welcome you to bring your own clothing, especially if you are having a lifestyle session.

Hair and Make up?

At your request I can arrange for hair and make-up to take place before your session. This helps you to enjoy the whole pamering experience. You deserve it for all the hard work your body is putting in!

I am a newborn baby, children and family photographer based in Kettering, covering Northampton, Market Harborough, Wellingborough, Oundle, Rutland and beyond. I love to tell visual stories in an artist way, styled, but naturally you are capturing the love you have for your family. I aim to create portraits of your family which can be made into art. This art deserves to be displayed in your home or in albums where you can pass on the visual legacy to the generations to come.
